[Tournament Home Page] [Entry Form] [Sample Questions]

The bracket for the 2000 tournament is now online. At this link you will find the tournament schedule and the brackets for 12- and 13-team tournaments which we will use on Saturday.

Format for Matches

Each match will consist of 24 toss-up questions. Teams will have 10 seconds to answer most toss-up questions. Fifteen seconds will be given to answer computation questions.  Bonus questions will consist of two parts, and teams will have 15 seconds to confer. For math and science computation bonus questions, teams will be given 20 seconds. In the event of a tie at the end of a match, toss-ups will be read until a team answers a question correctly. The first team to answer a toss-up in overtime will be awarded 10 points, and will automatically win the game.
